When California Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom and heir of J. Paul Getty created Plumpjack and Cade Wineries, inspired by one of Shakespeare’s most memorable characters, Sir John “PlumpJack” Falstaff, they sought to craft wines of the highest quality while celebrating the convivial spirit of their namesake with an inviting, approachable style. We're excited to welcome Plumpjack/Cade for this month's Wine Dinner.

Brothers Georges Daou and Daniel Daou set forth across California to find an unrivaled terroir for producing Cabernet Sauvignon, a quest that led them to a place of foretold greatness: DAOU Mountain in the Adelaida District of Paso Robles. Here, their vision is to make California “first growth” wine, fulfilling the district’s destiny as the world’s next benchmark for Bordeaux varieties.

Mr. Tarlov founded Chapter 24 Vineyards in 2012 after leaving Evening Land Vineyards, the winery he founded in 2006. Collaborating with consulting winemaker Louis Michel Liger-Belair and Viticultural Director Ryan Hannaford, Chapter 24 produces wines from organically grown fruit across 48 vineyard sites in the 5 Willamette Valley viticultural areas.
