Levent
Bozkurt, Proprietor of Stonehedge Inn, is
the passion behind the wine program at Stonehedge
Inn. This year Levent has created an inspired
schedule for the Inn's 'Celebration of Wine
2008' program. Taste some of the world's
best wines as we welcome winemakers and
proprietors from around the world, each
hosting a dinner and sharing with us their
most delightful and extraordinary vintages.
This is also an opportunity
for our Culinary team to create wonderful
menus to accompany the outstanding wines
at our monthly dinners. We continue our
trend of combining the freshest native New
England ingredients with classic culinary
techniques, all paired perfectly with the
wines featured.

Honig Vineyard and Winery Michael Honig, Proprietor
August 25, 2008 $105.00
per person
In 1964, Louis Honig
purchased a 68-acre ranch in the
heart of the Napa Valley and planted
it with Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet
Sauvignon grapes. Leaving the estate
to his children and grandchildren,
the family rallied together in 1981
to produce several hundred cases
of Louis Honig Sauvignon Blanc as
a tribute to his legacy. The wine
won a Gold Medal at the Orange County
Fair, and thus, the winery was born.
Today Louis Honig's vision of bringing
his family together to share in
the beauty and bounty of Napa Valley,
while producing outstanding wines,
has become a reality. We are very
much looking forward to enjoying
these fabulous wines!
Patz & Hall Donald Patz, Proprietor
September 22, 2008 $110.00
per person

1988, Patz & Hall embodies the

Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs into
one of California's most celebrated
artisan wineries. Vintage after
vintage, the Patz & Hall Chardonnays
and Pinot Noirs are recognized for
their evocative character, dramatic
flavors and seductive textures.
If you are a fan of Chardonnay and
Pinot Noir, this dinner is for you!
Far Niente Larry Maguire, President and CEO
October 20, 2008 $115.00
per person
Nowhere is the
romance of the Napa Valley captured
more poignantly than in the stately
old stone winery located just south
of Oakville. One of California's
oldest wineries, it has been transformed
into a state-of-the-art winemaking
facility that combines the best
of both the old and the new worlds.
Upon completion of the winery in
1885, the name, Far Niente, translated
to 'without a care', was carved
in stone on the front of the building
where it remains to this day. The
winery continues to focus on producing
only the two varietal wines of Chardonnay
and Cabernet Sauvignon. We feel
very fortunate to welcome back Larry
to another winemaker dinner and
to taste his incredible wines!
Joseph Drouhin Laurent Drouhin, Proprietor
November 24, 2008 $115.00
per person
Joseph Drouhin's
passion in life was wine. His goal
was to offer quality wines bearing
his name. Over the past 2 centuries,
his family has been committed to
the passion of Joseph Drouhin. The
helm passed to Robert Drouhin in
1957, and he eagerly acquired vineyards
in some of the more prestigious
appellations, such as Musigny, Griotte-Chambertin,
Chambertin-Clos de Bèze,
Bonnes Mares, Grands Echézeaux.
He was one of the first to believe
in the future of Chablis. Since
2003, Robert Drouhin is the Chairman
of the Board and his children, Philippe,
Véronique, Laurent and Frédéric
each work together in the house
that bears their name and was founded
in Burgundy by their great grandfather.
Quintessa Agustin Huneeus, Jr., President, Huneeus Vintners
December 22, 2008 $125.00
per person
The story of Quintessa
is really a story of destiny. That
this unique property that was quite
possibly the best parcel of land
in the Napa Valley, had laid untouched
for many years. In 1990 Agustin
and Valeria Huneeus purchased the
land and christened the property,
Quintessa: a name that alludes to
the five dramatic hills and five
distinct microclimates included
in the property's diverse geography.
In 2002, their dream of the Quintessential
Wine Estate, one vineyard that produces
one singular estate wine, was realized
with the opening of the winery at
Quintessa. Touted by Decanter and
given 4 stars for their 2003 vintage,
Quintessa already has quite a following.
