Levent Bozkurt is the man behind the wine at Stonehedge Inn, creating a wine collection that is beyond compare. Hailed as the finest wine collection in the Northeast and surpassing most collections worldwide, the wine collection includes 100,000+ bottles with over 2,000 selections on the daily wine list.
“I want everyone to be able to enjoy a good bottle of wine at a good value” states Levent.
His philosophy is simple – he ages the wine in the Inn’s own wine cave so that he can present the wine at its peak. “So many restaurants feature wine before their prime, it is a shame. By buying my wine young and aging it myself, I am able to offer the wine to our guests at a great value.”
For the ninth straight year, The Wine Spectator has awarded the prestigious Grand Award for Outstanding Restaurant Wine List to Stonehedge Inn. Awarded to only 76 restaurants world-wide, this coveted award is the industry’s standard bearer for the finest wine lists in the world. “There is no greater honor than to be awarded the Grand Award for our achievement with our wine list”, quotes Levent.

Levent’s vision is not only to offer a unique wine center to taste and purchase wines, but to create an environment to comfortably learn about wine. Stonehedge Cellars is an opportunity for novice as well as experienced wine consumers to learn about what wines they enjoy, as well as how to match
their tastes with food. Levent believes that everyone should be able to enjoy a bottle of wine, from the under ten dollar wine, to the aged wine, to the new varietals, to the new releases and to be able to enjoy a glass of wine with everything from a simple burger to a gourmet dinner.
