2018 is the fourth year of our 'Celebration of Craft Beer' dinner series! For each Beer Dinner we create a menu to highlight the beers that will be showcased each month. Our Chef crafts a menu that pairs perfectly with the featured brewery.

The Beer Reception starts at 6.30pm in the bar (featuring the first beer and 3 appetizers) and the 4 Course Dinner starts after.

Allagash Brewing Company started in 1995, as a one-man operation in a small corner of a warehouse in Portland, Maine. Founder Rob Tod assembled a small 15-barrel brewhouse from used equipment and began his quest towards the production of traditional Belgian-style ales.

Since 1988, Gritty McDuff’s has been creating fine, handcrafted ales and traditional pub fare. From our humble beginnings as a small brew pub in Portland’s Old Port we’ve grown to become the brew pub of choice for Mainers and folks “from away”. 

From the start, Gritty’s was at the forefront of the brewing renaissance in the Maine. Founders Ed Stebbins and Richard Pfeffer had two simple goals in mind: to create a true, English-style pub serving fresh ales and great food, and to have fun doing it. 



Our Inaugural Celebration of Craft Beer Dinner, hosted by Sam Adams Brewery, will be held on Wednesday April 22, at 6:30pm.
